Terms and Conditions

1. Purpose
A High-Tech Code provides website development services, which may include:
- Based on proprietary templates
- Developed with additional customizations
- Implemented based on a design provided by the client
The specific services are defined according to the plan or proposal agreed upon with the client.
2. License of Use
The client acquires the right to use the website for their own business. The license granted is:
- Non-exclusive
- Non-transferable
- Limited to the client’s own commercial use
3. Intellectual Property
The source code, base structure, design, and technical components remain the property of High-Tech Code.
The client receives the final functional website, and access to the source code is not provided unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. Customization
The customizations included are those described in the contracted plan, namely:
- Logo application
- Text insertion
- Simple content adjustments
Additional changes may incur extra costs.
5. Hosting and Maintenance
Website hosting is included free of charge for the initial period of 12 months, as described in the contracted plan.
After this period, the renewal of hosting and any technical maintenance will be subject to an annual fee, according to the rates in effect at the time of renewal.
In the absence of renewal, High-Tech Code reserves the right to suspend or deactivate the website.
If the client wishes to transfer the website to an external server, this operation may be considered an additional service.
6. Delivery
The delivery timeline begins after:
- Receipt of all necessary content
- Payment confirmation
Delivery is carried out by making the website available online.
7. Payment
Payment must be made before the final installation or publication of the website. In the absence of payment, the website will not be made available.
8. Responsabilidade
High-Tech Code is not responsible for:
- Content provided by the client
- Interruptions resulting from third party failures (servers, domain, etc.)
- Misuse of the website by the client or third parties
9. Applicable Law
These terms are governed by Portuguese law.
